Report Permissions

Report Permissions

As an admin of a channel, you can modify the permission settings of your reports. Channel Administrators have many options when it comes to deciding who can view, edit and create reports.

Permissions are controlled via the Control Panel, and the options selected will effect Public and Private channels differently. See Here to learn more about the difference between public and private channels.

  1. Login to SaferMe.
  2. Click on the Control panel.
  3. Select the channel you want to change permissions for on the left drop down box.
  4. Click the "Design Form" tab.
  5. Click on "Details", and scroll down.
  6. There, you can edit whether you want to restrict reporting, enable report comments or allow anonymous reports for the channel you have selected.

Restrict Reporting

On a private channel, if "Restrict Reporting" is selected, only users with the Administrator Role will be allowed to create reports.

On a public channel, if "Restrict Reporting" is selected, only users with the Administrator Role or Operator Role will be allowed to create reports.

Enable Report Comments

If you select the "Enable Report Comments" option then users with permission to view a report will also be able to comment on a report.

Allow Anonymous Reporting

If you select the "Anonymous Reporting" option, then users can choose to hide their identity when making a report. Please note that this does not affect their permission to do so.
